Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at the vibrant city of Kathmandu, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Take this day to relax and acclimatize to the unique atmosphere of Nepal. You can explore the bustling streets of Kathmandu and discover its vibrant markets and cultural landmarks. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu Full-day Sightseeing (Kathmandu/Swayambhu/Patan)
Embark on a captivating journey through Kathmandu’s historical and spiritual landmarks. Begin at Swayambhunath Stupa, an ancient Buddhist site atop a hill, offering panoramic views of the city. Continue to Kathmandu Durbar Square, adorned with intricately carved palaces, temples, and statues. After lunch, visit the city of Patan, known for its traditional artistry and architectural treasures. Witness skilled artisans crafting exquisite works in wood, stone, and metal. Day 3: Full-day Sightseeing in Kathmandu (Boudhanath/Pashupati/Bhaktapur)
Today’s exploration takes you to the revered Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most sacred Hindu shrine, situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Discover the spiritual ambiance and witness unique rituals performed by devotees. Next, visit Boudhanath Stupa, a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site adorned with colorful prayer flags. Experience the serene atmosphere and join pilgrims in circumambulating the stupa. Day 4: Kathmandu to Chitwan (B/L/D)
Today, depart for the enchanting region of Chitwan. Fly to Bharatpur and immerse yourself in the beauty of Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, check in to your resort and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, engage in various activities that allow you to delve into the natural wonders of the park. Embark on an exciting wildlife safari, witness diverse flora and fauna, and spot rare species like the one-horned rhinoceros and Royal Bengal tiger. In the evening, immerse yourself in the local Tharu culture through a captivating cultural program. Indulge in a delightful dinner and spend a tranquil night at the resort.
Day 5: Chitwan National Park (B/L/D)
Awaken your senses to the pristine beauty of Chitwan National Park. After breakfast, venture deeper into the wilderness. Explore the Tharu villages, gaining insight into the unique local culture and traditions. Embark on an unforgettable elephant safari, riding through the dense jungle and getting closer to nature. Enjoy a peaceful canoe ride along the Rapti River, observing crocodiles basking on the riverbanks and a myriad of bird species in their natural habitat. In the evening, be captivated by traditional Tharu dance performances that showcase the region’s rich heritage. Return to the resort for dinner and a restful night’s sleep.
Day 6: Chitwan to Pokhara (B)
After breakfast, bid farewell to Chitwan and embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara, a city nestled in the lap of the Himalayas. As you arrive, take in the awe-inspiring views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre peaks that tower over the tranquil setting of Pokhara. Day 7: Sarangkot with Full-day Sightseeing in Pokhara (B)
Rise early to witness a breathtaking sunrise from the vantage point of Sarangkot. Behold the magical spectacle as the sun’s golden rays illuminate the surrounding Himalayan peaks, creating a mesmerizing panorama. Return to your hotel for breakfast before embarking on a full-day sightseeing tour of Pokhara. Visit the Seti Gorge, an impressive natural wonder carved by the Seti River. Explore the captivating Davids Fall, a picturesque waterfall cascading into a deep gorge. Continue to Bindyabashini Temple, a sacred site dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga. Day 8: Pokhara to Nayapool to Tikhedhunga (B/L/D)
Today, embark on an adventurous journey as you leave Pokhara and drive to Nayapool. From there, commence your four-day trek into the breathtaking Annapurna mountain range. Begin your trek with a scenic uphill walk to the village of Tikhedhunga. Traverse small villages, terraced rice fields, and refreshing waterfalls, immersing yourself in the picturesque landscapes of the region. Stay in a basic lodge and savor delicious vegetarian meals. Overnight in Tikhedhunga.
Day 9: Ghorepani (B/L/D)
Continue your trek, gradually ascending towards the village of Ghorepani. Traverse through lush forests adorned with vibrant rhododendron blooms and be captivated by the surrounding snow-capped peaks. Arrive at Ghorepani, nestled at an altitude of 2850 meters, and soak in the serene ambiance of the mountainous landscape. Rest and rejuvenate in a basic lodge, enjoying nourishing vegetarian meals. Overnight in Ghorepani.
Day 10: Poonhill Sunrise View to Ghandruk (B/L/D)
Prepare for an unforgettable experience as you wake up early to hike to Poon Hill, the highest point of the trek at an altitude of 3210 meters. Reach the summit before sunrise and witness a breathtaking spectacle as the first rays of light illuminate the towering peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After this magical experience, return to Ghorepani for breakfast. Then, trek downhill through lush forests and picturesque trails to reach the charming village of Ghandruk. Immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy the warm hospitality of the Gurung community. Overnight in Ghandruk.
Day 11: Ghandruk to Nayapool to Pokhara (B)
After breakfast, bid farewell to Ghandruk and begin your descent towards Nayapool. Arrive at Nayapool and drive back to Pokhara, where you can relax at your hotel or indulge in some souvenir shopping. Reflect upon the incredible memories created during your trek through the Annapurna region. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 12: Pokhara to Kathmandu to Nagarkot (B)
Board a scenic flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu, marveling at the aerial views of the majestic Himalayan peaks. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, drive straight to Nagarkot, a hilltop destination renowned for its panoramic views of the Himalayas. Relax and soak in the serene atmosphere, witnessing breathtaking sunrise and sunset vistas. Overnight stay in Nagarkot.
Day 13: Final Departure (B)
After breakfast, bid farewell to the enchanting land of Nepal. You will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey, carrying with you unforgettable memories of the cultural treasures and natural splendor experienced during your time in Nepal
The following are what we advise you to have these equipment and gear before trekking in Nepal, and are meant to keep you mobile and comfortable in a range of expected weather conditions. Trekking gear can be rented or purchased in Kathmandu at cheaper prices, remember Nepal is the home of Mount Everest, there is plenty of choice and our staff can assist you with the necessary arrangements. Except for your day pack, all luggages will be carried by porters. There is an allowance of 33lbs/15kg per person. Additional personal items not needed for the trekking portion of the trip can be checked in the hotel’s storage room for no extra cost.
